Loose Change

We took our loose change to one of those Coinstar machines at the supermarket today. Coinstar used to charge you about 8% as a "coin counting fee," but now you can get gift certificates with nothing off the top. A couple years worth of accumulated change ended up being about $300, which we put on an Amazon gift card.

Pretty cool! It's a nice service. I recommend it.
