I would think by now, after 8 years of Clinton--and his famous "depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is"--people would be wary of politicians who are lawyers. Let's take a careful look at Obama's most-quoted line:
"If you like your current coverage, you can keep it."
Remember, again, he's a lawyer. So the questions you have to ask are:
1) What if you want to change/upgrade/down-grade/etc. your current coverage?
2) What if you change jobs/become self-employed/get fired/employer changes coverage/etc?
3) In each of those cases, will you have the freedom of choice to pick your own level and quality of coverage?
The answer is pretty clearly a big, fat no.
As I always say: STOP ELECTING LAWYERS!!!
